— Do you love Michigan and its stones? I do! So I painted a collection of 12 Michigan Fossils & Stones and am happy to share them with you.

— 12 Michigan Stones in this piece: Petoskey Stone, Leland Blue Stone, Charlevoix Stone, Brachiopod, Pudding Stone, Crinoid, Stromatoporoid, Lake Superior Agate, Banded Chert, Horn Coral, Yooperlite, and Chain Coral

— Fun fact about this artwork: I used 5 colors of gouache paint to mix all the colors in this series. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White. Mixing the colors was a big part of the fun.

—All art by Grace You, an artist and a fan of Michigan and its stones. Lived in Ann Arbor, MI, for 3 years and LOVED it. Now lives in S.Korea.
